PodTech and Webcreativity informing

Thanks to the Mercury News teams we keep finding amazing examples of "webcreativity" a concept that Karina Crespo is applying when fostering creativity in education at the Educ.ar portal.

Many thanks to Michael Bazeley who has kindly shared his post and kudos to Mercury News columnist Dean Takahashi for a very informative and "inspiring tour". As usual, the SilliconValley.com subscription, keeps us posted and tuned; now the San Jose Mercury News Video teams have surprised us again!

This quick visual enables not only improved sharing-learning options, (Web 2.0 concept), it also expands our "thinking paths" and other "blink-emerging" possibilities. Indeed, Inside the Googleplex video explorations inspires thinking about "adaptive learning organizations"and related working ecosystems. We can't but compare with other more traditional "organizational structures", for instance when reading some Spanish case studies on the legacies of powerful "family clans and related networks of friends" or alternatively, former state monopoly companies now privatized (and in the hands of circles-networks of friends) which are going global with increased "digitizing" activities. Still in our opinion, many remain somewhat "feudal" in their structures and operations, and this reflects on the related "media" networks too. We believe there is a lot of potential here for growth and evolutionary change, specially in regions where many a "modern times" mechanical production site is being dismantled. Unfortunately building and cement are still driving here as the alternative "hot businesses", and the price for autonomy and innovation in Europe is excessively high.

Younger generations may value more a legacy of "learning and enabling" institutions with extended "clean tech" business concerns, which go along the line with better and more accessible information and communication tools, enhanced media and working environments; rather than a legacy of so called: "pepino" inteligente (intelligent "cucumber") or other magnificently designed buildings, which look good in brochures.

Then Dean Takahashi's article also informs the video in Podtech from a broader perspective, reminding us that in its time, Silicon Graphics used to be as cool a company as Google is today. However I believe SG was another type of "creature"evolving differently and in somewhat different domain extensions, not only in terms of business but in terms of products, services and strategies?
